FilWest exists so that people with honest intentions can find each other. These rules keep it that way. They apply everywhere on the Service — profiles, photos, and messages — and they form part of our Terms of Service. Breaking them can mean a warning, content removal, or a permanent ban.
Use your real name, your real age, and recent photos of yourself. No impersonation, no borrowed photos, no "managed" accounts run on someone else's behalf.
Never ask another member for money, financial help, gifts, top-ups, or investment "opportunities" — and never send money to someone you haven't met in person, no matter the story. Our systems automatically flag messages that mention wire transfers, gift cards, or remittances for human review. Asking for or offering money is the fastest way to get banned, and the most common sign of a scam. Report it immediately.
No harassment, hate speech, threats, or degrading comments — including comments about race, nationality, religion, or body. If someone unmatches you or stops replying, let it go. Repeatedly contacting someone who has said no is harassment.
No unsolicited sexual content, no nudity in profile photos, no promotion of commercial services, escorting, or prostitution, and nothing that breaks the law in your country or theirs.
Don't share screenshots of conversations, other members' photos, or personal details outside the Service without their consent. What's shared with you in trust stays in trust.
One profile per person. Don't use the Service to advertise, recruit, drive traffic elsewhere, or collect members' information.
Every report is reviewed by a person. Use the flag button on any profile, or email support@filwest.com. Reporting is confidential — the member you report is never told who reported them. For guidance on staying safe while dating long-distance, read our Safety guide.
