Terms of Service.

Welcome to FilWest. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the FilWest website, mobile app, and related services (together, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Who can use FilWest

• You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or use the Service.
• You must not have been convicted of, or be subject to any court order relating to, a violent or sexual offence.
• You must not have been previously banned from the Service.
• You may create only one account, and it must be for your own personal use.

2. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity that happens under your account. Notify us immediately if you believe your account has been compromised. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

3. Honest profiles and verification

Everything in your profile must be true, accurate, and about you. You may not impersonate another person, use photos that are not of you, or misrepresent your age, identity, or intentions. Identity verification is optional: you may submit a government ID and a live selfie, reviewed by our team, to earn a verified badge on your profile. Submitting documents that are not yours, or falsifying verification in any way, is grounds for a permanent ban.

4. Community conduct

You agree not to use the Service to:

• harass, threaten, abuse, or demean any person;
• solicit money, financial details, or gifts from other members, or otherwise scam, defraud, or mislead anyone;
• promote or engage in commercial activity, advertising, escorting, or prostitution;
• send spam, malicious links, or unsolicited sexual content;
• share another member's private information or content without their consent;
• do anything unlawful, or encourage others to do so.

Our Community Rules form part of these Terms. Violations may result in content removal, suspension, or a permanent ban without refund.

5. Content you share

You keep ownership of the content you post (photos, bio, messages). By posting it, you grant FilWest a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, display, and distribute that content for the purpose of operating and promoting the Service. You confirm you have the right to share everything you post.

6. Safety

We offer identity verification, automated flagging of suspicious messages, and one-tap report and block tools, but we cannot guarantee the identity, intentions, or conduct of any member — including members without a verified badge. You are solely responsible for your interactions with other members, online and offline. Read our Safety guidance before meeting anyone in person, and never send money to someone you have not met.

7. Subscriptions and payments

Parts of the Service require a paid subscription. Subscriptions are purchased and managed in the FilWest mobile app through your app store's billing, and the features they unlock apply to your account everywhere. Prices are shown before purchase. Unless stated otherwise at checkout, subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled; you can cancel at any time and keep access until the end of the paid period. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable.

8. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from your profile settings. We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the Service. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including licences to previously posted content, disclaimers, and limitations of liability) survive.

9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, FilWest disclaims all warranties and will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for the conduct of any member, arising out of your use of the Service.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes we will notify you through the Service or by email before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
